What to expect

Consultation and skin scan. We look at your pigmentation, skin history, medication and current products, so I can recommend the right approach.
A plan for your skin. The type and strength of peel is chosen for your skin. Stronger resurfacing is only used when your skin is ready for it.
Prepare your skin. Stop retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs and strong actives 7 days before your appointment.
Protect your results. Wear SPF every day and reapply when you're outdoors. Pigmentation responds quickly to the sun, so this is what keeps your progress.

Frequently asked questions

How long does pigmentation take to fade?

It depends on the type and how deep it sits. Marks left after spots often improve over a course of treatments, while sun damage and melasma usually take longer and need ongoing care. I will give you realistic timescales at consultation.

Can melasma be cured?

No. Melasma can be improved and kept under control, but it can come back, especially with sun, heat or hormonal changes. Daily SPF and the right homecare are essential.

Is pigmentation treatment safe for darker skin?

Yes, when it's done carefully. Darker skin tones are more likely to develop pigmentation after inflammation, so I choose treatments and strengths with that in mind and prepare your skin first.

Do I really need SPF every day?

Yes. UV light triggers pigmentation, even on cloudy days, and can undo weeks of progress. Apply SPF every morning and reapply when you're outdoors.

Can I treat pigmentation when pregnant?
