Frequently asked questions

How many acne facials will I need?

It depends on the type and severity of your acne. Most people see the best results from a course of treatments alongside the right home care, rather than a one-off facial. We will talk through a realistic plan and timescale at your consultation.

Do you treat teenagers?

Yes. The Teen Fresh Glow Facial is designed for teenage skin and focuses on congestion, blackheads and early breakouts, with plenty of education on how to look after their skin at home. Under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Can you treat acne scarring?

Some scarring and texture can be improved with resurfacing treatments and peels. Deeper scarring has limits, and I will always be honest about what is achievable. The Clinical Resurfacing Facial requires a consultation first so I can assess your skin properly.

Should I see a GP or dermatologist instead?

If your acne is severe, painful, cystic or leaving scars, or you are struggling emotionally with your skin, please speak to your GP as well. Medical treatment and professional facials can work well together, and I am happy to work alongside any treatment you are prescribed.
